Assistant Chief of Orthopaedics at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. William K. Jackson is now in his 35th year in private practice. His areas of special interest include joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee, and arthroscopic surgery of the knee. Conservative by nature, Dr. Jackson attempts to find a non-surgical solution first for his patients.
After attending Texas Christian University, Dr. Jackson attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he received his medical degree. Following medical school, Dr. Jackson completed his internship at State University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. He completed his residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Jackson has been nominated D Magazine, “Best Doctors in Dallas”, in 2003, and to Texas Monthly’s “Texas Super Doctors”, in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Dr. Jackson has been married to his wife Leslie for 41 years. They have two children, Rob, and Paige. His hobbies include sailboat racing, and aerobic training.
